Do or die week coming up
I have to be the world's worst procrastinator, and that is not a good thing when you are self-employed.
Now the chickens have come home to roost. Please think good thoughts about me, even though you will end up regretting it when you read my next entry.
Hope you are having a good weekend.
Addendum: According to this test (HT: Miss Cellania).
My blog is worth $11,855.34.
How much is your blog worth?

Thinking good thoughts but you can't be the world's worst. I already hold the title.
And I'm a close 2nd...which puts you to at least 3rd! See..things are looking up for you already!
Good luck with catching up on things. I too work on my own schedule, which can get exciting when I have a deadline. I try to always complete things ahead of schedule, but it doesn't always go that way.
Take care.
Thinking good thoughts. Thinking good thoughts. Thinking good thoughts.
Good luck! I can think lots of good thoughts since my Utes are back and kicking some trash. Hope everything works out for you!
Oh dear. That sounds rather frightening.
Good luck this week. I know what pressures are like when you are freelance (or self-employed).
B~
Fortunately I have absolutely no problems with procrastination. I also never lie.
Procrastination? I brought work home at 1:00 today, about 4 hours worth of work. I've done about half of it and it's almost 9:00. But of course, at 9:00 I have to stop and go watch Heroes.
This is why I am not self-employed, and why a church left a bag of groceries on our porch once when I was self-employed. Let's just say that I also procrastinated when it came to selfpromotion.
But they do say that procrastination is often a sign of high intelligence. I was going to look up the reference, but maybe I'll get to that later.
I'll try to toss up a prayer or two for you.
$6209.09. How can I sell?
Procrastinators=intellegence?
Sweet. I'm freakin' genius.
Except I can't spell "intelligence." Doh!
I once wrote a story for the children in my church called "The Last Minute." I will have to post it some day. I guess you are finding out that you have a lot of company when it comes to procrastination. :-)
You are in good company.Lots of morale boosting thoughts your way and a few prayers.
Years ago I had a young friend about 18 yrs old who was caught with a penny matchbox full of marijuana and sentenced to 3 years in prison. Nowdays I think such an offender would warrant scarcely a wrist slap, but during the hippie days it was different.
He was so young, slight of build and baby-faced, and I think he suffered terrible experiences in prison, although he would never speak of his time there.
In recent years he called me, excited in a way, and asked me to see Shawshank Redemtion with him. He alternately wept and cursed and sometimes both at once.
It was a moving experience. He's dead now, killed in a car crash. I re-watch the movie when it comes on TV and always I think of that boy, long haired hippie in the re-hab group in which I volunteered.
I am glad that the characters in the movie had a positive outcome. I wish the hippie friend had had a better future too. It is sad.
Yeah, well, I waited until now to comment. What does that say about me?
Dude, join the club. I have been a high ranking officer of the United Procrastination League for years. And yes, I understand what that means when you are self-employed.
Hang in there...and that whole thing about procrastination=intelligence...Yeah, I'm a super genious along with Ethel.
Well...did you make your deadlines?
Trust me, things could be worse..my job currently doesn't have enough funds for the next payroll. That's always fun!
Oh..and I did this "How much is your blog worth" thing again..Mine is finally worth more than 0! Woo-hoo! ha
did you get the email i sent you?
