God Save the Queen
This is so kewl!
My friend Jenny Smith found out that the President of her school is the Chaplain to the Queen of England. And she knows him. She even drove him to the airport on Saturday.
What that means is that Jenny is only one degree of separation away from the Queen of England. And since I personally know Jenny, yours truly is only two degrees of separation away from the Queen.
Now how cool is that? Okay, that doesn't do me any good, but still...

Hmmm ... 7 degrees of seperation. I wanna play! I have a friend who starred in a movie with Katherine Heigl who co-stars with Patrick Dempsey on Grey's Anatomy, who co-starred with Reese Witherspoon in Sweet Home Alabama who guest-starred on Friends with Jennifer Aniston & Courtney Cox-Arquette who starred with Michael Vartan on Friends. Therefore I am four degrees of seperation from Michael Vartan! Sweet! And if you want to get literal I am five from Jennifer Garner!

AG, it might not surprise you, but I must make a note that it disturbes me how easily you can draw a connection like that. And I may disturb you that I'm really not sure who Michael Vartan is . . . but he sounds familiar. :D
Yes, it is true and neat that I'm so "close" to the Queen. I asked Dr. Torrance, though, if he could arrange for me to meet the queen and he said that it would be very difficult and that there would be a slim chance that I might be able to meet the Queen at a garden party if it was the right time of year, but that I'd have to wear a hat.
So, I guess it settles it--I will never meet the queen because I do not wear hats. :)

Dave, I have been meaning to tell you that I am coming home on Friday, May 6th and will be in Los Angeles until ~June 8th. The weekends that I am busy are the weekend of the 7th, 15th and June 5th. I will be back in Los Angeles at the close of August, but I'm not certain about those days yet. We should totally have a GNP reunion!
